The Daniel Foundation of Alabama's
mission is to strengthen communities
within Alabama
and improve the quality of life for citizens from all
regions of Alabama through the support of
quality educational programs, arts and culture,
civic and community programs, and medical
care and research.
The fall grant cycle is full as of approximately 7:30 a.m. on May 1st. Not all guidelines requests for the summer cycle have been processed at this time. We will contact each organization that sent a request to let you know if you have one of the 80 spots, or not. This process may take several days. If you have not heard from us by May 15th please contact us. Please make sure you save a copy of your e-mail, with the time listed, in case there are complications with the delivery of your e-mail. If you receive the guidelines from us by e-mail for the summer cycle then your spot is reserved and your proposal should be in by September 15th. This guidelines e-mail will include an attachment of our policies and an example proposal. If you have any questions please contact Joyce Brasher via e-mail, joyce@df-al.com or call (205) 874-3523. Guidelines for the December 15, 2013 deadline may be requested beginning August 1st. In July, we are scheduled to begin our review of priorities and our process. We expect this to take approximately 6 months. Please be patient with us as we look at how to better serve organizations and the community.
