Grant Policies
Guidelines for giving:
Must be a 501(c)3 and be within the Alabama area.
Formally request the current guidelines.
Have not requested within the last 12 months and if requested three years concurrently,
organization must take 1 full year off before requesting again.
Must have compliance with acknowledgements and have sent in
the Grantee Status Report of last grant.
Considerations can be given to
capital campaigns projects only once unless extenuating circumstances.

Operating expenses
Program Expenses
Scholarships
Special Projects
The Daniel Foundation does not fund:
Individuals
Fundraising events
Start-up costs and/or "seed" money for a new organizations - the Foundation may consider
for a new program for a well established organization.
